Our Routine Finder quiz
Our Routine Finder is a general skincare quiz, not a health quiz or a medical assessment. It asks about general skin characteristics and preferences so we can suggest products and routines that may suit you. It does not diagnose, treat or assess any medical or skin condition, and its results are general information only. If you have a skin condition, or any concerns about your skin, please speak with a doctor or dermatologist.
If you provide your email address or phone number with the quiz, or complete it while logged in to your account, we will link your answers to your contact details or account and use them to personalise product recommendations, content and marketing. Please do not provide medical information (such as diagnoses or medications).

Automated decisions
We use computer programs to make or assist with some decisions:
- Fraud screening: Every order is assessed by automated fraud analysis tools and our own fraud rules. These use information such as your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, IP address and location, device and browser details, payment verification results (for example, whether address and card security checks matched) and order history. Orders assessed as high risk may be held for review or cancelled automatically, without a person reviewing them first. If your order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund. If you think your order was cancelled in error, contact us at privacy@skinstyle.com.au and a member of our team will review it.
- Product recommendations: Our Routine Finder quiz and personalised content use your quiz answers, optional profile details (such as gender and age range), browsing activity and purchase history to suggest products. These are suggestions only and do not affect your ability to buy any product or the price you pay.

Your privacy rights and choices
Providing information and anonymity
You can choose whether to provide personal information to us. Where practicable, you can deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym (for example, when browsing our website or making a general enquiry). However, we need your name, contact details and delivery address to process an order, and if you don’t provide certain information we may not be able to provide some services. We will tell you when information is required and when it is optional.
Access to your information
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you. We will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for making a request, but we may charge a reasonable fee for the cost of providing access where the request involves significant effort. If we cannot provide access, we will explain why in writing and explore other ways to share relevant information.
Correction
You can ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We will respond within 30 days and take reasonable steps to correct your information. If we cannot make the correction, we will explain why in writing, and you can ask us to add a statement to your information noting your requested correction.
Deletion
You can ask us to delete your account and personal information. We will do so unless we need to keep it to comply with the law (for example, tax records) or to resolve a dispute or complaint.

We will only send you marketing emails and SMS messages in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Our marketing messages will identify SkinStyle and include a way to unsubscribe:
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- SMS: reply STOP to any marketing SMS, or follow the opt-out instructions in the message.
You can also change your marketing preferences by contacting us. We will process your unsubscribe request within 5 business days. We will still send you service messages about your orders and account.
Advertising
We may share encoded (hashed) email addresses or phone numbers with advertising, search engine and social media platforms, so we can show you relevant ads, avoid showing you ads for products you have already bought, and reach people with similar interests. You can ask us to stop doing this by contacting us, and you can manage your ad preferences directly in the account or ad settings of the platforms you use.
